At St. Peter's we aim to provide an environment in which the children may develop and learn about themselves and others, paying heed to all aspects of the curriculum and all areas of learning and experience: aesthetic and creative, human and social, linguistic and literary, mathematical, moral, scientific, technological and spiritual, within an atmosphere of Christian care and love.
The staff and Governors of St. Peter’s are in general agreement with the principles laid down in the Wigan Entitlement Curriculum, believing that the National Curriculum is only a minimum requirement and that our children are entitled to a full and balanced education. This is reflected in our Excellence and Enjoyment afternoons and our Key Skills approach to integrated learning.
